WPOTY 2013
This image was taken today, on a great studio workshop for the WYPOTY 2013 prize, a very rewarding day and with more shots to follow. This shot in particular was taken with a Nikon 3100 and studio lighting.

Daily Post
The figure in this image makes it, it isn't brilliant yet could pass with a bit of processing. Opinions?

Istanbul - Tilt and Shift
This image has been processed with Focus and a rathe brilliant app called analogue. It was taken in Istanbul, in the same trip as some of the previous images I have processed. However this one was taken by the Golden Horn, showing the bustling ferry wharf.
One Post a Day
I am going to start a one picture per day scheme, which displays either a freshly edited or a freshly taken image every day- enjoy here is the first one.

School Prospectus - Safety hazard
I have been commissioned to do the new HCHS school prospectus, an interesting task, a least. One of the images that I can post as they are people free is this rather amazing science experiment, that was especially laid on for the photo.

Water fall
This was taken with the last light of the evening, the camera was balanced on a rock as a substitute for a tripod. The water fall was so poorly lit that it was pointless to try and take it on a fast shutter speed, so instead i tried to capture the fast movement without a tripod and with a slow shutter speed. It was taken using full manual, which have been using more and more recently. It was shot somewhere between Cusco and the Sacred valley. The stars came out half an hour later and that night it was down to minis eight!!

Lares Trek photos
Right, here are the first images of the amazing Lares trail, it was breathtaking. Some amazing views of snow capped peaks. I have taken a total of 20gb of images during the trek, and me and my camera have traveled many, many miles and have been to my highest altitude so far, roughly four times the height of the highest peak in the UK (Ben Nevis). At night it went down to minus eight yet during the day it reached the upper teens. Glad to be able to sleep properly again!
Many more photos coming!
